Who Are We?

The USCSA Southwest is Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Arizona’s premier collegiate ski and snowboard conference. As part of the Far West region of the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association, we provide student-athletes with the chance to compete in an exciting range of events, from Slalom and Giant Slalom to Boarder/Skier Cross and Slopestyle.

Since our founding in the 1970s, we’ve been the launching pad for athletes who have gone on to compete at the highest levels, including the USCSA National Championships, where top talent from across the U.S. and Southern Canada comes together.

What Competitions Do We Offer?

Our competitions take place at some of the best ski resorts in the Southwest, including China Peak, Dodge Ridge, Bear Valley, and Snow Bowl. Over five race weekends from December to April, athletes compete in a range of events such as Slalom, Giant Slalom, Rail Jam, and more. We also organize Nordic competitions upon request.

The season culminates with the Far West Regional Championships, which alternate between northern and southern California, and the prestigious USCSA National Championships, which rotate between the east and west coasts each year.

Who Competes with Us?

The USCSA Southwest is made up of around 400 student-athletes from nine universities across California and Arizona, including:
